As if Heath has never beaten bodybuilders bigger than he.

Richards won't step foot onstage. That would actually require him being ripped, which could spell trouble for him.

Besides, how can we get a good measure of how big he really his, relative to other bodybuilders, when he's almost always in off-season mode, while standing next to bodybuilders, fresh off a contest?

Indeed, I was. Richards was being hyped for years. He got a pro card, by winning a contest that (as far as I know) was not a pro qualifier prior to his entering the show and hasn't been one, since then.

American Muscle claimed that Richards entered that show, because he wasn't a US citizen. But, it turns out he is; but, he's a dual citizens of Nigeria and the USA. He claims that he entered the Nigeria show, because the politics of the NPC wouldn't have allowed him to turn pro, by winning the USA or Nationals (couldn't he have won the North American, run by the IFBB?).

Victor never competed in any pro show or even a high level NPC show.
If Victor competed in NABBA we would have actual contest condition pics and stats.

Bro the bottom line is when kovacks turn pro he was over 300 on contest day, was 365 with abs, his arms were fucken huge and yes I have seen Victor R, Ronnie, Markus, Gunter and no one and I mean no one comes close to kovacks.

Now imagine he never competed as a pro, the whole world would be saying he could have been Mr. Olympia, everyone would, the hype he was generating was outrageous. I remember reading an article in Musclemag saying Kovacks is going to the NOC and he will win that and will head to the Olympia at 340lb shredded and that he will make evryone look small. Go look at his pics of him at 365, he looked good, looked proportioned and was fairly lean, but brother contest day is a whole knew ball game, it is night and day. Plain and simple.

Yes and no, he really did lose tremendous arm size from 10-12% bodyfat to 5% bodyfat, we are talking at least 2.5 inches here.

...yes, guys, it's true, Vic Richards was very critical of bodybuilders, but if you wanna' talk about sheer freak appeal...well. Went up to see Dr. Jekot one afternoon, some of the older members here may remember that name. In his waiting room were Rory Leidulmeyer(sp?), the Barbarians...and Vic Richards. His size was unbelievable, guys!  It was one of those things where you just go-"it just doesn't make sense!"  His quads were super gigantic...nobody in that room was anywhere near his size..and he's only like 5'9"'!  So, yeah, dreams unfulfiled and all that, but when you are talking about an immense fucking freak...in person, Vic was(is) definitely that!

Good points bro. But I don't think his lats are as high and torso as long as being portrayed. Dennis Wolf would be an example of that.
