It's not , it's designed to get people pissed off so they will tune into the next ' gun-debate ' he has. It's like they say in Private Parts about Howard Stern , the people who loved him listened for a set amount of time and the people who absolutely hated him listened even longer

Piers absolutely came across looking like a hypocrite in this video , he wants to ban AR15's which are used in less than 3% of firearms crimes but doesn't care about pistols which are responsible for 97% lol in all honesty he doesn't give a fuck about gun control , especially not as much as ratings

It is , it's competition and the market is so over-saturated with ' news ' shows and TV shows all competing for your viewership they need to do just about anything to get you to watch their show , credible news stations posting front page news about Kim Kardashian because they know brainless fucks will follow , sensationalism sells and they know it

neither side is right and its terrible that no one can see the solution. neither our system is right nor Americas.
we as human beings know perfectly well there are certain people who are put in positions of power who we trust, know are responsible and have the intelligence to make the right decisions. that's the whole reason the policeman was invented in the first place.
America should restrict massively the sale of guns.

no guns for the following
any person with a criminal record or even a warning.
any person of any mental health illness
long term unemployed (these are usually your problem)
only the most senior two adults in a house can own a gun
it must be looked away in a safe.

following all this criteria you will be allowing responsible mentally stable adults to own fire arms with no danger of children or others getting hold of them.
also each responsible home will be able to defend itself.
I even believe a gun should be kept locked in a safe in the head teachers office at a school for emergencies.

this shouldn't just happen in America but worldwide.

another question i have, the us gov can be stopped with assault rifles? I mean if what they really fear is gov turning on them the rifles wont help lol

The rules should be simple, NO gun, big or small if

you or someone who has access to your home has a criminal record
you or someone with access to your home has a mental problem
everyone should have a gun safe but even with safe the above should be a rule
background checks on all sales, including shows, private, etc

you break the above rule, you get charged with murder if your guns are used, plain and simple

Guns were banned in the UK because of a mass shooting at a school in Scotland around 1996.
The guy who shot all the 5 year old kids was a middle aged loner who had legal weapons. He was a pedofile who was banned from working in youth clubs and was also kicked out the scouts as a leader for trying to get 12 year old boys to go camping with him. He had all sorts of police investigations into him but still had his licence renewed before he went on the killing spree.
