Thinking may be needing to  make an appointment at the docs to try and get hrt, have all the typical symptoms.
-never desire sex or to beat off, has been months since I fucked our lass
-never wake up with morning wood.
-lack of energy
-anxiety, always worrying about things.
-general lack of enthusiasm and enjoyment of life.
-real lack of aggression

This stems I feel from a long term ilness finally cured by a few ops but spent years on prednisone and methotrexate.
Surely its not normal to feel like this at 29 .
I just dont want to go to the docs and make a fool of myself if things test normal?
what are others experience with hrt?

symptoms could be depression

depression can be linked to low hormones

but not necessarily

getting professional consultation is best

Ya shop around.. the first few docs did this brainless questionaire matrix (reading off of computer) and conclude they need to send you to a 'specialist' aka psychiatrist who then will more than likely try to prescribe you a number of psycho drugs which will screw you up even more.

Research endocrinologists on your own instead, and DEMAND to be recommended to one of them then go from there and see what the endos discover/etc...

I had to do that, and I was put on trt at what was it 25?... within a month i was already feeling better and within a year's time my body drastically changed and I felt amazing the whole time. Unfortunately had to get off due to trying to get wife pregnant, already had precondition of low sperm regardless of hormones.

My advice is freeze tons of sperm so u can do ivf/icsi for ur future kids/etc...

Anyways I've been back on trt since may of last year and of course, I train hard, eat hard, etc... but I dropped 7" off my waist (again) and looking better each day. Not to mention more importantly you feel normal again, zest for life, libido, mood, patience, the whole works. Low test is screwy for sure, I bet that's why some old geezers have tempers, mood swings, lack of patience, etc... we need dat der testosterone Smiley

Whatever you do NEVER EVER take ssri TRASH... pharmaceutical garbage that WILL f you up in the long term. There have to be hormonal, physiological and environmental factors that will impact your sense of well being, these ssris literally screw with your brain and how they perceive and handle these issues. It's a patch that does not look at root causes and causes further harm!

Certain ssris will also FURTHER kill your libido (there are a few that boost it but anyways the wrong way).

Best of luck homie. There are guys I knew that were put on trt since 18... but none the less it should be for them 40+ year olds. The problem is.. our f'ed up society, government, environment, corporations have polluted our environment with garbage substances, chemicals (such as xenohormones, plastic oil estrogens etc...) genetically modified foods, the 'modern' life style where you are overwhelmed all the time (stress hormones will reduce testosterone too) and it all has an impact on both hormone levels (male and female) and fertility.

People are JUST realizing this is happening now... in a way even testosterone injections are a 'fix' as the root cause is the environment, chemical substances around us, pollution, gm foods, life style, etc.. but...

Just got back from the Dr. today regarding this.  This will be the third time I have had my testosterone checked.  First time at 25 and it was in the high 100's (after a brief cycle of Winny and sust) then about three years ago it was 257. They told me I could go on then, but I wanted to have kids, so I didn't.  Well, My first will be here in April, so I am thinking about doing it.  I just don't know how I feel about the permanence of the whole thing.  Once you start, you cant stop, because you won't produce anymore.  I feel that deca and tren really shut me down hard.  Did 5 cycles while in college, and one after (the 2005 eight weeker I talked about) and don't think I ever fully recovered.  The deca gave me a bit of gyno, that is not noticeable, but I am probably about 15% body fat, so it doesn't show. I'm 31 and am not sure if I want to do something forever, or whether or not it is healthy.  I will say, placebo or not, I tried a sample of the gel, and I felt it the next day, and it seemed to stay with me for about two days, then faded.  I could see how one could get themselves in trouble feeling that good again.

Thanks its interesting to read others experiences.

Done with having kids so dont need to worry about that.
The effects on phisique would be a great bonus, have to work really hard to keep the fat off this last year especially.

The libido effects would be great but most looking forward to feeling myself again, havent felt normal for the last couple of years feel like just exist and get through another day, week ect. And yge bad tempers are fucking unreal.

Yeah bro :-/ I feel you... some serious biznass dat der low test..... and docs will a-okay you for being OKAY if you are even low normal. What is normal for the average diseased coach potato may or may not be normal. Their conclusion to what is the normal range is based on every tom dick n jerry averaged out more or less. The fact is, the 'normal' has been getting lower and lower in the average population...

Again going back to what I said the ROOT cause has far more to do with stressful robot slave like life style, pollutants, chemicals, all the garbage in air, food, genetically modified foods, the whole works.. but.. there is a problem... and not all docs are acknowledging it, most are just following orders like drones to follow whatever they are told, hence how a lot of people are put on psycho drugs like ssris and screwed up more!

The doctor told me for more consistent blood levels, use a daily cream, and that injections cause spikes and drops in blood levels. However, I felt I knew almost just about as much as he did about the actual drug/testosterone, but not about the effects obviously. Chemical wise though, I think I knew more, or at least felt like it, Nd he seemed surprised.

Docs like to prescribe gel because its more expensive, if they are in the pharma circle of friends. Test injections are cheap. Yes they tend to do stupid things like injection every two weeks or even once a month (some idiot endos)... however most docs now do once a week injections... BUT personally i do twice a week injections even when trt only. Yes small injection but feel totally stable otherwise i feel an up and down between shots.

Gel... is expensive... icky... can get on kids and wife, etc... its just for the $$$

What about using some ancillaries to help boost your test?  Could you use some clomid, hcg, a-dex, etc?  I mean if it brings guys on here back to life after a cycle could that help you raise your natural levels?  It won't be the same as a cycle but it may help you feel better no?  I never heard of anyone doing this but just a thought ... maybe not a good one but a thought.  ....  Grin

My test compund cream costs $12 for a months supply and takes less than 10 seconds to be absorbed into my skin, that and I only have to see a doctor every 5 months or so. A buddy of mine is getting injections every 2 weeks costs him around $600+ a month.

I did that, I know ALL about all the meds and herbs and supplements for sperm count, quality, motility and test/estro/dht level increasing/balancing/whatever.

In the end, injected test is the best... IF you have a system that does not respond.

Without the clomid, daa, ais, and other bs supps i wouldnt have survived the time off trt... i still kept getting worse and worse off out of shape, libido was meh, mood was meh, etc...

However if someone just has some messed up temporary hormonal imbalance, clomid and say aromasin should fix that up.

That is kind of what I was wondering about ...  at around 400 it isn't off the charts low.  Would some clomid and aromasin help him boost it up a little?  Would be worth a try no?

I wouldn't mind 400, as it was 257 last time in 2009 and in the high 100's the time before I had it checked in 2007. Just had it checked again but haven't got the results yet, but pretty sure they'll offer me the HRT because it will be low.

Just got the results back, and they are a twinkish 272, with normal range being 241-827.  Anyway, have any of you guys that are on HRT, felt any pain relief because of it?  I have back problems, two bulging/degenerated discs in my lower back, and wanted to know if it would help, hinder, or not affect it at all.

It might help strengthen your lower back which in turn will help some of the pain by providing more support.  You could do this without TRT though.  I wouldn't say it's going to help, but if you focus on strengthening your core it won't hurt you.

I have several bulging disks in my lower back and i have to keep my lower back in good shape or it gets painful.  If i take more than 4-5 weeks off from the gym i can feel pain in my lower back throughout the day.  As long as i stay active and stretch a few days i week i can still squat and do power cleans with zero pain in my lower back, however i have to focus on proper form and i never do any max attempts.

You should be able to get on injectable TRT at that number, but all doctors are different.  Just focus on strengthening your core and don't lift anything too heavy and your back will be fine.  My back is in pretty bad shape and i can still squat over 400 pounds pretty easily.

Cool

I have chronic back pain, been through 5 surgeries (2 were fusions). I take 1/2 ml test cyp 2x a week. I have been doing it for about 3 years. I have seen ZERO decrease in back pain. I was hoping for the same thing. Sorry to say, hopefully it will help yours but I would be surprised.

Your levels are very very low, sorry.
I am no way an expert, although, I am on HRT.
A weekly dose of Test, not cream, with a little HCG, 1-2 times a week and you will feel better in 3 weeks and way better in 6.
The cream is not as effective and can cause baldness, I could explain, but, that is the reality.
HCG alone will bring things up a little but likely not to the levels you would like.
Another blood test 3 months after you start is a good idea, I mean a complete profile, LDL/HDl, liver, sugars etc...
My aches and pains are 100% unchanged, however, I feel stronger with more energy and an increased libido, all typical.
Good luck, hope this helps.

Can you explain how it causes baldness? I got time, and will probably understand what you're saying. I have a full head if hair, with no signs of balding, but don't want to speed it up.
