Great article on Mike Katz

The New Haven Post-Chronicle did a great recent article on Katz at http://www.ctpostchronicle.com/articles/2013/01/10/sports/doc50cb47132a1b7508110497.txt.  They do have an inaccuracy.  They indicate that Katz took 2nd to Ken Waller at the 1977 Mr. Olympia.  Didn't Zane take 1st that year?  (Or did Katz take 2nd in the heavy-weight division to Waller and Waller lost the overall to Zane?)

2nd place was like last place in that contest, of course at that level there are no losers. katz came off as a nice guy in the movie pumping iron[reel life}. and from all indications he was that in real life too. he often MC'd the mr lehigh valley contests in my area allentown pa and always came off as a great guy.one story i know of was this guy i know i call him muscle gypsy, guy actually tranversed the country going from gym to gym for reasons only known to himself actually trained. well anyway he stopped at katz garage gym and mike acually invited him in to train with joe u and coach.
