DONNY, I don't know if Lou ever trained with Reeves  but it is a distinct possibility as he was just a few years younger than Steve if I recall correctly.

I met Lou before he became Mark Forrest but have never seen one of his movies ....... If I recall correctly!

Been so long ago that .... sometimes I don't recall correctly!

Ditto for Ed Holvochick .... if I recall correctly!

I'll let some GetBigger fill in his movie star name even though I can recall that correctly.

If you really want to win a lolly-pop ... Name the two big Century Fox productions that Ed appeared in before he went off on his own.

ed fury  movies were probably gentlemen prefer blonds and demetrius and the gladiator or maybe south pacific.

Ed Holovchik = ED FURY

DONNY, I think you are correct about Demetrius and the Gladiatots (1954 but he had a closer tot he camera shot in RUN SILENT, RUN DEEP
a submarine movie released in 1958.

I'm not sure about SOUTH PACIFIC nor Gentlemen Prefer Blonds but sometime in the early 60's he did go off to Europe and stared in a coupe of Sand an d Sandel movies which did not get great acclaim.

Funk, thanks again, for the additional photos of Ron Teufel.  I had not seen a couple of those prior to your post.  I never really got on with Tony Pearson winning the 1978 AAU Mr. America over Ron.  The double bicep comparison photo, I think is from the 1978 AAU Mr. California contest.  If I remember correctly, Teufel defeated Pearson by quite a margin.  At the Mr. America in 1978, Teufel beat Tom Platz for the short class title.  Immediately after winning the Mr. America contest, Pearson was defeated by Platz in the 1978 Mr. Universe selection competition.  Seems like a strange sequence of events.
