Dexter is GREAT and may be the grainiest tier 1 black bodybuilder
ever but no way any version of him beats a 2011 Heath.
The only knock on Dex besides his calves is that he is almost too
balanced, much like Chris Cormier - He doesn't have any of those
Holy Shite bodyparts like Heath's arms and back double bi.
Kai's back and thighs for another example. Also, everytime Vic Martinez
has been in shape he beats Dex but no way Branch should have beat
him for 2nd at the 2009 Olympia. Dexter was just as good as when he
won in 2008 and I think I was shocked like almost everyone else when
he was called in 3rd place instead of Branch.

This. Dex physique is almost perfect from a BB judgin standpoint, but just "boring". Nothing spectacular at all.

Just like Rockel, being too "balanced" can break you.

All things combined Kai is the closest I think. But! He is shorter and has less shape so Ronnie is still the best according to me.

Damn, if Beyeke got better in his conditioning plus a tad more size he would be right in the game for "best since Ronnie".

Phil looks great in that shot. My only thing with him is his width and I don't like this marshmellow look. It's new and everyone is enamored with it cause it looks cool. But in doesn't beat granite like Dorian muscle or rock hard Ronnie beef (no homo). It's just another thing to judge in this subjective sport. Other than that he's fucking incredible. I'll give him this as time goes on he's not looking as balloonish. His width is his Waterloo to being the greatest ever.

Exactly it's a phenomenon with guys the love arms arms arms so to a lot of people arms can never be too big to Phil gets accolades meanwhile he has the torso of a middleweight ... But hey his the arms I dream about having so all is ok.... Greatest mr o (shakes head)
