are strict curls inferior to not strict curls

if you hold your elbows perfectly under your shoulders and not let them move forward or backward during the barbell curl

you can only use a little bit of weight

is that bad for gains?

if you "cheat" a bit you can have a lot more resistance in the negative phase

strict is much better.

cheating can be used at times however.

Super rigid form doesn't help me.  A little bit of play adds a ton though.

strict  right up till the end of a set 2-3 cheat reps to finish set off. everyone's defintion of strict may be different too.

looking at this pic you can see the foreward lean under defintion this would be a cheat curl, but compare to this pic and it looks pretty strict. last pic in sequence may have been photoshopped not sure?????????? but you get the idea.

swing the weight as much as possible and scream at the top of your voice especially if their are girls training close by

This is correct do all the strict ones you can then cheat a few up.
