He has a severe recreational drug problem and nearly died not too long ago. The damage the drugs have done to his brain is irreparable, but I hesitate to really feel any empathy because he is back to his old ways and there is no indication that he wishes to change.

When he was in the hospital for the extended stay, I suspect he suffered brain damage. He probably will never admit to it though.

There seems to be a correlation between illuminati and people who are brain damages. Waddy seems to be recovering nicely however. Now he just rambles on about dieting fads and getting fat.
