How old are you, again?
I have two spartan races - one in April at Citifield NY coming up. That one i will nail - im in good fucking shape now for this. I'm hoping for top 10-20% finishers since the first i'm ever doing this type of thing and running has never been my strong suit. But I have been running the last few months and now easily do 2-3 miles at the end of each workout at 10:00 pace like nothing. The only thing is sometimes I get a little calve pain. My cardio is fine and only get winded a bit when I up it to 7:30 pace for over .5 mile or so. I am going to try to keep a 9:00 minute mile pace or so.
Then I have the Spartan Race in Tuxedo NY in June which is more a mud run on a ski slope - by then I should be in even better shape for this shit but I have a lot of buddies doing it with me and it depends if I run w them or just go for broke on my own and dith them.
GoRuck is September 7 in NYC 1am at a place they tell you the day before. I already got the pack and will start just getting used to that weight and doing PT with it soon. I got the bricks and put it in there and its fucking heavy.
The Tough Mudder im not sure which one im doing yet. Either October in NJ or one sooner elsewhere.
I'm a glutten for punishment.
