Rene Descartes was an amazing philosopher, mathematician, and overall intellectual powerhouse. One of my favorite figures in all of history. I absolutely love his "Meditations" and cartesian geometry is a blast!
that being said, his comments about the pineal gland were completely preposterous.

Tap water is good for washing clothes and dishes, if you quit drinking it for awhile you will be able to smell and taste the chemicals in it.

yes indeed, I grew up with well water so can sense it, got a water filter installed, it removes chlorine but not flouride, got to get an extra filter installed to take most of that out. |
