you are confusing the sociopath with the super dangerous psychopath. socio's are everywhere and aren't nearly as sophisticated as you are saying.

I don't think I'm exaggerating or mistaken here.
A sociopath is generally a more manipulative version we see more in everyday life but not a killer like a psychopath.

I've dealt with one of these people relatively recently, this particular person is even quite popular.

Everything they do is an act for a reason. They're constantly acting.

6% of the population are apparently sociopaths.

It's creepy when you meet these people in real life and realise that they really do exist.

They feel zero remorse, everything is somehow justified, they are always right.
They are extremely narcissistic and live in their own created world of complete self-delusion and often it is even strong enough to convince others too.

Their brains function differently, they can be dangerous.

If coupled with charm and charisma, they are extremely dangerous.

They are manipulative and genuinely enjoy seeing suffering in others.
Outwardly they will be your best friend and cultivate an image of being good/sweet/caring but this merely a smoke-screen for them to hide behind in order to hurt people even worse.

This is how they get their kicks, they like to see suffering in others.

Avoid at all cost.

spot-fucking-on.

There are two base reasons people lie.

1 - They are trying to gain something.
2 - They are afraid of losing something.

sociopaths just really aren't all that complicated, and may not always be that smart. sure they manipulate a little but anyone who can read people can spot them pretty quick. the main difference is you can spot a sociopath, a psychopath you cannot.

the versions the media shows on TV like hannibal are rare, the real psychopaths are in politics or military and they don't always 'kill', but they can methodically destroy people's lives and not lose sleep over it. dont fear the socio.
