an AR-15 IS NOT AN ASSAULT RIFLE YOU BUFFOON.

It is a SEMI-AUTOMATIC.... IT DOES NOT DO FULL AUTO and as such, is NOT an assault rifle.

They can be made fully automatic with the proper "auto sear"

- An assault weapon ban would not prevent any deaths at all.

- Connecticut had an existing assault weapons ban during the time of the shooting.

- There were no assault rifles used in the Sandy Hook shooting.

- "The_Hammer" (interesting, since hammers kill more people per year than assault rifles) is a paid propagandist.  I repeat, a paid shill sent in to debate with and persuade others to his employer's line of thinking.  The dude sounds like he is a walking billboard of talking points direct from MSNBC.

It's funny you say that!  I just read an article about these paid "shills" and was thinking the same thing!

Hammer you ought to be ashamed of yourself for exploiting the death of those children for your political ideology.

Thats fucking sickening, I bet you were part of that same crowd ranting and raving about romney exploiting the Benghazi attack months after it happend.

You know military personel have side arms in the form of pistols too, should we not be allowed to own those seeing as the are military arms?

Plenty of ppl use AR15's to hunt with, its obvious you know nothing about guns or the 2nd ammendment.

You should just come out and admit youre an emotional moron and are just scared of guns.

It can, but it's just as illegal to do that as it would be to own an AR-15 under an AWB.

300 Million Armed citizens vs. a standing military of 150K

You don't think they can fuck shit up?

You're delusional... The USSR and the US have had issues just dealing with some "insurgents". You don't think the citizens can fuck shit up?

Stallone is for gun control because he didn't want his half sister to have a gun when he was abusing her

Every day, almost 30 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. This amounts to one death every 48 minutes.1  The annual cost of alcohol-related crashes totals more than $51 billion.2
Thankfully, there are effective measures that can help prevent injuries and deaths from alcohol-impaired driving.

How big is the problem?
•In 2010, 10,228 people were killed in alcohol-impaired driving crashes, accounting for nearly one-third (31%) of all traffic-related deaths in the United States.1
•Of the 1,210 traffic deaths among children ages 0 to 14 years in 2010, 211 (17%) involved an alcohol-impaired driver.1
•Of the 211 child passengers ages 14 and younger who died in alcohol-impaired driving crashes in 2010, over half (131) were riding in the vehicle with the alcohol-impaired driver.1
•In 2010, over 1.4 million drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.3 That's one percent of the 112 million self-reported episodes of alcohol-impaired driving among U.S. adults each year.4

no one cares about this.  the tv is telling them that it is guns that are the enemy.  nevermind that they don't kill nearly as many people as alcohol.  and we don't have time to restrict alcohol and save thousands of lives.  there are millions of people smoking pot on their couch at home watching tv that they need to arrest.

Alcohol isn't even some big danger either.

Drunk Driving is another one of those fear things. Some people scream loud enough and the entire world loses it's damn minds.

Guns are the same.

Both are not nearly as dangerous as they pretend they are.

You have a better chance of being struck by lightning... Might as well never leave the house.

agreed.  but if they HAVE to go and fight something.  at least start with the thing thats killing the MOST people.  not the thing thats being talked about on tv the most.  just like when people thought we had a "steroid crisis" in the lat 90's.  we are a country of media babies.  and its just keeps on getting more ridiculous.
