At $100,000, roughly about 30-35% (taking federal, state, city and local taxes into consideration) of their income will get taxed.  The exact percentage is determined when the number of exemptions are included as whether or not the person is single, married or head of household.

Also, with the right deductions, you could lower that percentage to the low 20-percentage.

Those guys will hopefully have good accountants.  Sadly, they usually have managers and fight camps that all charge a percentage.

yeah i know that they have huge expenses, for example OVEREEM earned 285 000,than minus 30% taxes on that)199,5k
and for the living expenses,house,car,food,suplementation+training partners,sparring partners,manager %

but many of them have a PAY PER VIEW contract,i dont know exactly but this is like something every ppv above 500k they get 1$,so if UFC was 600k ppv, alistair wouldget 100k x 1$ =100 000$ now i dont know is that also taxable, but UFC doesnt show the numbers or contracts of ppv they give to their fighters

I am not familiar with those extra royalties.  I will ask Renzo Gracie next time I see him about the details.  Maybe TommyWishbone might know more, I know he is well established in the game.

Same reason most all boxers are broke at the end of their career, taxes, child support, expensive cars, mortgages then Don King steps in for his cut. Lights out.

How the fuck does Rashad Evans earn $300,000 for that fight, I can  honestly say that was one of the worst fights in the UFC's history.  It was like watching a lazy sparring session between two amateurs who didn't want to be there.  And for Silva to only get $70,000, WTF, he beat Fedor for God's sake.

No shit. His nickname alone is worth more than 9,000 dollars.  This is a guy who recently fought for the flyweight title. UFC should be ashamed. Lowballers!

Bullshit. I'm no fan of "Uncle Creepy", but the guy has name recognition.  He also recently fought for the title in his weight class. 9,000, is what a rookie scrub gets. Dana should have more balls than that. Ian is at least a 30,000 (just to show) fighter.

His Sherdog stats page: http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Ian-McCall-5001

His website: http://www.unclecreepymma.com/

He is 11-4-1, an average fighter with decent skills.  I have never been a fan.  Although, if he were to spend more time on perfecting his moustache, I might become an avid follower.

He has a little Daniel Day Lewis in him, or at least might have at some point in his life.

He may end up being an average fighter, but the fact is, he fought for the title in his previous two fights. That in no way says 9,000 dollars. It's not good business, it's called stealing.
