Back pain is due to a vertebrae pinching a nerve sometimes results in sciatica, leg pain. I injured my once a Chiropractor showed me some sitting twists to "release the vertebrae off the nerve" back in place every time I feel a little back pain I do these daily eventually it goes away.
no it is not
not for chronic back pain
i read all the medical literature. started of by learning the basics with med school text books, then read the spine/orthopedic specialty med journals, then read all the med journals about pain and the neuroscience involved with it.
I was able to meet researchers informally at university functions and talk to them about this stuff and the two things just confirmed that no one really knows anything abut chronic pain
now, by no one i mean no one serious. there are 10 million quacks that will tell u all kinds of crap and sometimes help you by chance, some times hurt you, most times nothing. russian roullete.
but chiropractors, physical therapists only work in acute phases , once you go chronic there isnt a chiropractor in the world that can consistently give you results.
you may get lucky once but you may also get really fucked up with that kind of intervention, since they dont know what they are doing
