Interesting LAPD occurence here with a few very dumb GetBig comtributions to a very serious situation.

So here's a question I throw out to the relatively few GetBig intelligencia.....

Can the LAPD or any police agency within the USA live up to the high standsards expected of them ..... within the conditions in which they find themselves???

Modern Western Police Forces are nothing more than highly organised Criminal groups, to think otherwise is naive and what led this vigilante ex-policemen to be in the position he is in now.  Like any criminal organisation, those who are ruthless, lack a conscience, are criminally minded and enjoy using force on the perceived enemies of the group will rise quickly through the ranks.  The remaining Police officers are just do-gooders and pussies who are terrified to speak out against the constant corruption they witness within this criminal organisation.  Their motto is, go along to get along.

Might be true. But I'm not sure if I'm missing anything of the puzzle here. This guy Chris Dorner was an ex-LAPD, then under whatever ground was fired due to turning on a fellow police officer for some sort of police brutality? Then on the flip side you have the LAPD randomly "shoot first ask questions later" killed two innocent women in the same look alike type of car that apparently Chris Dorner is fleeing in.

Man there's definitely more into it than all this. My belief is some scumbag is trying to cover something up over at LAPD. Is it just me or does this movie remind you of "Training Day" with Denzel Washington.

The 3 innocent people he killed were relatives/families to the police officers he's trying to apparently get revenge on if I've read the story correctly. A friend of mine from Cali just said there are marked and unmarked police cars on almost every on-ramp and side street from San Diego to Los Angeles.

yes , how about they Stay Professional and do their jobs what they are paid and trained to do, and stop putting their lives first instead of the general public

The girl killed in irvine was the daughter of a guy involved in dudes firing. Her boyfriend was also killed. The riverside cop was just a random cop. Nothing to do with it ( as far as I know)
