Good old Andy B... He was nothing like character in real life.  I trained with him back in Philly during the mid-80's.  He was a little bit cocky, but was a pretty laid back dude.  Trained hard, but hated doing legs.  He got involved with some a-holes after he moved to LA, which IMO, is what fucked him up.
