I'm on a business trip staying near Salinas
a few things I've noticed:
- the weather is pretty much the same every day
- there are a lot of horses just walking around
- everyone is overweight but friendly
- there are random fires everywhere and no one seems terribly concerned or interested
unfortunately I won't have a chance to see San Juan but at least I had dinner in Ponce
are there any Puerto Rican's on getbig or someone who's familiar with the island?

I drove san juan to Salinas back in 09. stayed for a few days. I liked it a lot. It not anywhere near as "Americanized" as San Juan. That's what I appreciate the most. Hate seeing the beat up stray dogs:( tho.

Why? Puerto Rico will be of great strategic importance in the future. Another state would be another state...additional territory. |
