Have never stopped completeley, but have had periods with a lack of interest, changing routines each week as an cover for laziness.
Had a few weeks off after surgery a year and a bit ago, was told not to lift anything heavier than a fucking kettle for 6 weeks  Roll Eyes

I believe, maybe 4 weeks tops if you're talking no excercise. That would be vacation-related then. Started 15 years ago.

only have taken scheduled weeks off since I was 14.. Well during football season in high school we'd barely lift, but besides that I have almost always been in the gym.. somedays i love it, other days i hate it..

3 months earlier last year.  Got some HBP issues and laid off the gym for a while.  When I went back I was reborn. Felt amazing, stronger workouts, joints felt loose.  I might do a good month off every year now.
