If this goes to court I think Maher loses his ass off.  Trump won't give a rat's ass if he spends 10 million on legal to get 5 million for charity.

Listen to Maher, he's not quite recalling it the same as it happened.  I can easily see him losing this.

I think it would be hard for Trump to win.  Even if Trump didn't think it was a joke, I imagine most reasonable people know that Maher was making a joke and not a serious contract.

No way Maher loses and no way Trump is even serious

Trump is a publicity WHORE and he hasn't made a public ass of himself in a few months and this is just his latest attempt to get some publicity

They laughed at the comparison of Trump to an orangutan but they only applauded his offer to donate 5 million to trump's charity of choosing.  Nobody laughed at that and Maher sounded very serious making that statement.  They've had legal professionals give opinions going both ways on this case.  Most think he won't win but some think he could so I'm not the only one.
