the producers/writers alluded to something way bigger than people or zombies. so yeah, maybe radiation ,maybe a plague, maybe some extreme weather...
it is probably something obvious that we're not thinking of... something that would disappear after 2-3 years of no electricity or society infrastructure... maybe mountain lios take over or something, who knows... killer birds...
Sounds like they realized season 3 sucked (in comparison to first two) so they are going to make this one deadly and exciting and about the sci-fi (versus the humanity angle of it). I hope so. I loved the CDC angles of the show, the flashbacks to the early breakouts. Would LOVE to see flashbacks to the origins, initial riots, etc.
I recently found this game/adventure for ipad. Shows a prisoner dealing with the initial outbreak - where they call it riots and it's all just happening. Those would be the most awesome parts of the show.
