I'd bet probably small amounts and HGH when he hit his mid 30's. I believe it was Jordan who got Tiger Woods involved in PED use.

yes..............alot of people in nba used winstrol and deca because it wasnt on the nba's banned substances list until 1999, remember when pippen was ripped then played for the rockets looked like a different person, remember when rodman was sicked rippped, there are claims that there is a steroid problem in the nba currently as we speak.

I'd say so...Everybody that knows Jordan claims that he hates the fact of getting old. It was his 50th birthday the other day and people are saying he's having a hard time dealing with age.

Yes people just want to say the NBA players are just tall. But make no mistake, PED use is rampant in the NBA. If the NBA had true drug testing, there wouldn't even be a league with the amount of weed and coke these players use. Those players are very protected. The NBA has been getting a lot of bad publicity in the blogs about being rigged games and what not. I think we will see some low level players test positive for supposed banned substances as a way for the NBA to claim they are on the up and up.

there were a lot of players who had that insane level of ripped-ness that you do not see in players today.

Guys who were the best, then 5 years later they looked to be 30 pounds of muscle smaller. David robinson. Malone. Pippen.

If steroids weren't banned then, so be it, let the players do what they're going to do... all we care about are good games and highlights.

Jordan would play a game, drink and gamble and get laid til daylight. hit the gym, then nap and then go score 40 points the next night. Either he had the best recuperative abilities EVER, or...

This. Everyone, myself included, likes to think their sport icons are a perfect combination of talent, hard work and mental toughness. But for the past 50 years, the evolution of professional sports are mostly based on the evolution of drugs. The whole "training and nutrition got better" is useless as it has only evolved so as to maximize the effects of said drugs.
