Maybe it was already discussed years ago, but I have just seen
The Wrestler for the first time and all I can say, it was so "Getbig"

Mickey Rourke living in a trailer park...
Buying steroids, growth hormone etc. in the gym's locker room from a semi-naked mass monster who proudly hits a FDB pose when Mickey asks him.

CUT, and Mickey is injecting gear into his ass...
CUT, Mickey is sitting at the hairdresser having his hair dyed, drinking protein shake from a gallon in the meantime... CUT, and we see him going into a cheap local tanning salon etc-etc.
Everyday life of the pro wrestler.
Later in the movie he is at a fans' meeting in some depressing place, maybe a school with 5-10 other has-been veterans, he sells videotapes and autographed photos for $8 (vs Lou's $20!). Not too much fans around, some of the former "stars" fall asleep, Mickey feels uncomfortable...
I really liked the movie, brilliant storytelling and now I feel sympathy for the broken, past their prime IFBB pros!
