he and Erik Fromm were the muscle-tech poster boys in the mid to late 90's. Fromm died a few years in his late 30's I believe. Hard to believe Kovacs outlived them both.

Mr. Intensity....I think he is living in Oregon or something and still stays in decent shape but by no means huge like before.

I remember in 03 when I got into bodybuilding he was always in the muscletech ads with Erik Fromm ( Who is also posing in peace by now :/)

tevita I believe for his Pro card and did poorly, as was to be expected. He probably is somewhere melting down as we speak---just like he melted down and threw his trophy when Garrett Downing beat him for the Pro card.

i saw duvall in a gym in pasadena in the mid 90's. didnt talk to him, but he was big as a house and had a lot of 'hanger-oners'

I remember seeing him at Diamond in NJ as I was on my way home after a workout. I think it was 1996, just before he started competing nationally. I believe he was in the gym to register for one of the local shows, the Atlantic States maybe. He was surrounded by people then as well.
