It is true that people latch on to conspiracy theories when they feel let down by everything in life. Rather than pointing the lens at themselves in narrow focus, they turn it the opposite way and widen the field, distorting the entire landscape and anything that comes in the view finder becomes probable, no matter how absurd.

For these people, this is the only way they can make "sense" (nonsense) out of what they perceive is chaos.

We haven't ran actual capitalism in this country since we came of the Gold standard. I'm still a Ron Paul supporter. Fuck no I'm not a socialist but what we have here is not capitalism. I never said there was anything wrong with it. Reading and research is great. I do believe that working a full time job can detract from self enlightenment. Not everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of such things but most wouldn't if they had the time anyway. I just want to know why you have such a low self worth that you will overlook the accomplishments of another even when evidence smacks you in the face. I think it attests to some kind of low self esteem, a sort of "Well, i'm doing nothing with my life, so this asshole is clearly lying" (Moonlanding for example) type mindset. It is a unhealthy mindset.
