No he didn't. His abs were very unaesthetic. They look like fat lumps, and lacked good serratus and intercostals. Look to Shawn Ray, Flex, Chris, Levrone, Francois, Pastel, Paris, Grubbs, Sarcev, Vince Taylor, and even Lee Priest as great examples of good abs.

The thing with Nasser's huge waist was it was all of his own doing. His waist wasn't genetically big to begin with. He had a great balence of size and asthetics at the NOC. Pretty much ruined himself after that, always too big and blocky, with his "fat" ab stack throwing off most poses. To be fair, Yates did the same thing. Had a tight, almost small waistline at first. But he had tools Nasser obviously didn't to pull off the increased width of his waist. Mainly Dorian's back was Olympia caliber and Nasser's back was um........as good as the fat permabulker I see in the gym everday?

so i am sure you agree with me his version of huston 95 at 268 pounds was better than that pic. you posted from 94 where he was around 245 pounds??..

even if he had some more back details in 94 still his over all shape, size, fullness, and, thickness was much better one year later.. and sure this was not the case with all his big versions..

He was 250 in 94 and yes I think his all time best is 85 Houston , but when people talk about him being big they mean 275+

Dex has been competing for far longer that that, well over 20 years (15 as a pro, and a successful one at at that).

He states he's feeling better than he has in years. And, as long as he's winning and placing high, there's no need for him to stop.

His only complaint, in my view, should be Masters Olympia. Maybe they should go back to calling it the Masters Pro World Championships. Dex got $100,000 for that win in 2011. He only got $75,000 for the Masters Olympia last year. I thought the moniker "Olympia" added more prestige (i.e. MONEY) to the title.
