I know about the no pain killer ambulance stuff. Pretty common if you have a potential head injury.

I had a motorcycle crash with a broken clavicle. They put a neck brace on me that pushed against the bone and would not remove it. Sat there, not driving to call in to the hospital and would not give me any meds due to a potential head injury. My advice, if you're not dead try to get a ride to the hospital.
