the dude bent over in the middle was stacking them on top of one another at a 45 degree angle. They were wearing masks.

I'm not familiar with this - is this a tactic that bad guys use to get a driver to halt so they can rob them? it was broad daylight so I can't imagine it was just 15 guys out there committing crime... but they weren't exactly dressed for city work/road management.

I still don't know what is happening when driver hits the guy.

Someone had a full story to this, but I can't find it now.

The kids are protesters of some sort, they block the road with tires that they set ablaze, then wait for the fire department and media to show up.

Dunno about this particular situation.... but its very common in Egypt to set up a road block like that, then the driver would stop and they would attack and steal the car and all the shit you have!

Happened to a lot of my family friends that have actually fallen for it. Although it also happened to a friend of my dad's who is a higher up for what can be considered the Egyptian Secret service.... needless to say he didn't stop and they start chasing him, they followed him all the way to his house - which is heavily guarded with SWAT type personnel.... It did not end well for the thugs!

I don't know, no one updated the video. I did learn that it happens frequently, the Americans that are there on business jokingly refer to it as "car bowling". The Egyptians don't mess around with this type of stuff.

That's EXACTLY the car my dad has Lol but silver, he swears it saved his life when a truck driver hit him and the car rolled off a hill.... He doesn't drive it anymore because he recently bought the 2012 model.
