dj how much experience have you on Nautilus machines ?

i trained on them when i was a very young punkass teenager (when i was 14-15) but i can't really say how much they helped me or not, coz at that time i was a competitive track and cross-country man, so i wasn't going to be able to build much size and strength running 40-50 miles per week

in the new legends mag, franco relates his experience with them, recounting how after training on nautilis for several weeks he couldn't deadlift 600 lbs after having been useing 700 lbs before his nautilis experiment. it was mostly a grip problem.

yes....yes we all know these pics but come on... not many other pics around is there apart from Mentzer. Jones was a clever man but lets not say he changed bodybuilding and for me HIT training or HEAVY DUTY training what ever you want to call it is not the ONLY and BEST way to train..

that's for sure donny, AJ was just a good business man at the time trying to build a better mousetrap. it was food for thought, it could possibly work for some for most it was just another tool in the aresenal of bodybuilding equipment and methods. at one time i trained volume style 3 days a week saving one day to use HIT in one workout was more to break things up than anything else. on HIT day i would do 2-3 warmup sets than go all out with a max weight till failure. for example i would use say bench press 135 by 12, 225 by 5, than depending on strength levels 275 by 6-8, i know i was a terrible bench presser but that's what i did at periods.
