Good thing this is a bodybuilding board because the knowledge and taste in music is putrid, haha.

Bruce Springsteen, like Bon Jovi - is a pretend cowboy from New Jersey....you buy that 1985 shtick as an adult that's on you.

He's no Mellencamp, either.

Were there many pretend cowboys from New Jersey?

Good question. I guess to answer this someone would need to know what a real cowboy is. By definition it is a man, typically one on horseback, who herds and tends cattle, especially in the western US and as represented in westerns and novels.

It can also mean a person who is reckless or careless, especially when driving an automobile.

There is a place called Wild West City which is a Wild West theme park based on 1880s Dodge City, Kansas, located in Stanhope, New Jersey. There are probably people working there who act like the western, horse riding type cowboys.

Bruce Willis was raised in New Jersey. In 1988 he played the role of Tom Mix, a cowboy in the Western, Sunset.

All this time I thought Bruce Springsteen was a real cowboy, I always wondered who took care of the cattle when he was on tour

It's a sad world where we lose artists like Prince and Bowie and this moaning, groaning turd still plays the same 10 songs forever.

You're a sad man my friend living in your own skin and can't stand the company.

One of the oldest rodeos in the country is in southern NJ.

I don't think there are any real cowboys left in the USA.

Springsteen is more of a pretend blue-collar man.  His father did work in a Big 3 auto factory in NJ for awhile when he was a kid.

That's his only connection to the common working man.  I don't think he ever held a normal job.

Nah, you don't know me.

But then again, it seems you imagine about the qualities of "members" often.

Here's the tag line on your very own profile right now - "JustPlaneJane Has A Huge Cock"

Are there things?

There are only things if you want there to be.

In Asbury Park the rock an roll haven of clubs he made a name for himself there is a store selling exercise equipment. They have a picture of him in the store. I guess he equipped his house from this place.

Major wanker.

For some reason people swing off his balls.

The best thing about “The Boss” (oh brother ::)) is a young Courteney Cox dancing with him in his video for “Dancing in the Dark”.

Bruce Springsteen's sister Pamela did a great job in Sleepaway Camp parts 2&3!  :)
