there was a person near DC that was a bicyclist who was hit a few yrs back. It was like 5 in the morning. And the person was dragged. The driver of the vehicle said that they thought that they hit a deer.

A dude I know hit a chick on a bike over the summer and killed her. Didn't turn himself in until the next day. He was just convicted and the jury recommended three years. Shit like that is why I don't ride on the road. You can have all the right in the world, but what difference does it make when some asshole in a two ton car hits you.

dude I love it. finally Got my hands on a truck but i wont touch the thing but the weekends going out.    way home last night i hear this "wooosh"....huge owl almost takes my hat off......that bike is my therapy.

deer? try bobcats(:  I used to ride my back home from work ...take the   backwood trails at like 11 oclock at night on purpose....it was LONNNNGGG ride ....looking back probably the scariest most dangerous thing I ever did in my life when you factor in snakes and wild animals........lots of them out here in SC...  these two yellow eyes shining in the dark and all of a sudden they dissapear and all you hear is footsteps closer and closer....... .if that aint a coyote its a bobcat and you better get your ass out of ther.......next day i would go back and there would be these tracks of these massive paws.

why did he turn himself in?  people ride around in mobs near where i live, taking up an entire lane - think they're trying to make some kind of point. i hate them.

  I have a really nice mountain bike, and like Groink, I love riding it around where I live. I am super wary of L.A. traffic, so I try to use as many safe routes as I can    side walks too

"This is the first evidence of a mountain lion making its way to Connecticut from western states and there is still no evidence indicating that there is a native population of mountain lions in Connecticut."

Male mountain lions normally "disperse" in search of females, but usually travel only about 100 miles.

The big cat, which was fully grown and younger than six, was hit by a car and killed June 11, 2011 on the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Milford, Conn. It had been seen earlier in June in Greenwich.
