Seriously, NK's nuke arsenal is tiny.  Smaller than the U.S.'s circa the late 1940s :\  But logistics and industrial capacity are what win wars.  We can land troops on their soil or nuke them from afar all day long.  The most optimistic projections of their nuclear strike range barely reach Alaska IIRC, and they aren't going to win wars detonating their couple of puny kiloton-class devices on Wasilla or somesuch vitally strategic targets, ROTFLMAO.

Except for the fact that most of Europe would side with the US in a trade war and China's exports would be reduced to nothing or taxed to hell and back making their entire economy implode over night.

China needs us to buy their goods. China needs US corporations to produce goods there, until they can rip off the patents. Problem is, the Chinese see foreign goods as better than Chinese goods, which is why GM is making a killing there with Buick, and Audi, Mercedes and others are making a killing.
Due to Chinese un-originality, they must depend on the US to spew forth more products, excuse me ideas, so that they can produce them.
