Few people should be married.  Those who shouldnt be marry aren't honest with themselves about their own nature/character.  They are fed the same cultural narrative about marriage and family we all are.  It's completely understandable that they would desperately want what they perceive to be the ideal.  They will keep trying to fit into that mold their whole lives and experience nothing but misery.
