Costco shoppers.
What is it with Costco and people being the biggest assholes? They are aggressive fucks in the parking lot to running people over and tackling each other for a free sample of a pork potsticker. It litteraly turns normal people into the world's worst assholes.
They sell whey there as well (bodybuilding related)
Fortunately, I live halfway between two Costco outlets. I noticed that at one store, it is always hugely crowded and the checkout lines are always long. Maybe it is just my frustration showing, but people do seem more rude at this store. At the other store, there is always an abundance of checkers, so the check out lines are fairly short. People in general seem less rude there. The atmosphere is just calmer. They also have different merchandise, like better quality wines. It is located near one of the most expensive suburbs of Portland, OR. I suppose this has something to do with why customer service is better.
A couple of things I do to avoid the Costco crazies is to avoid shopping there nights and weekends and I almost never go to the busier store. I have an executive membership, so I can go earlier in the day when the regular members are not allowed. However, I like sleeping in, so shopping before 11:00 a.m. at Costco is not really high on my agenda.
The parking lot is nuts at both stores, worse at the one which is the most crowded. Years ago at that store, someone's left their cart in the middle of the parking lot and as I approached my car I saw it swiftly rolling towards it. I was too far away to stop it and it left a nice dent in the door. It really gripes me that some people are too lazy to return the carts either to the places for them in the parking lot or back to the entrance of the store.
