Why is it obviously fraudulent? Do you have info we don't or are you just making shit up? And no, 1230 isn't super awesome. It's good though not Harvard not playing football or basketball good. But who cares. He got in, he was successful/
Harvard is packed to the gills with dudes and dudettes who got 1600 on the SAT, and I strongly doubt more than a very small percentage of them get 4.0s, and probably about 0 of them got "4.2". Yes, my "obviously fraudulent" statement is conjecture, but a 4.2 GPA is ludicrously improbable, for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that most university professors don't give out substantial amounts of extra credit, if any. In my several years at a top school, I never once personally knew anyone with a 4.0... much less some athlete. In my several years at a mid-tier school, where extra credit is doled out (relatively speaking) like candy, I, again, never knew anyone with a 4.0.
I don't really mean to slight this guy at all. I just find the legitimacy of these "incredible scholar athlete" stories highly suspect, yet people seem to love it.
