It's a skill and it takes some amount of effort. The problem is men use decision makings process that rely on information that is already over loaded with emotional content.

Have you ever looked at the sheer number of men in debt.
 
If you get in debt(foolish kind) it's either because your stupid or being led by your emotions.

There's a hundred other things that suggest dudes don't always make the best decisions.

The generalization that men are good at decision making itself is a very emotional laden concept.

Maybe you fail to understand the question, but the simple fact that bodybuilding is dominate by insecure or narcissistic freaks proves this.
