They should just agree to universal background checks, that is reasonable. No, we don't need military assault weapons but the problem is in the details. All the weapons these liberals are trying to ban aren't automatic AR-15s and M16s, as you think of when people say assault rifles. They want to limit handgun clips and other bullshit stuff. Point is government should only ban something if they absolutely have to. Anytime there are more restrictions, regulations and bans, we loose freedoms. Freedom to bear arms is clearly delineated in the constitution.
Who gives a rats ass if she is 79 and if she had been on the committee for 20yrs, she is held to the same standards representing us and making critical decisions. Having career politicians is one of the problems with Washington.
