Answer me this, if the only things that actually matter to most working adults, is having a place to live, and putting food on the table, why do we need to work so much.
Capitalist talk about the efficiency that the market creates and I'm all for that, but what is this increased production giving us.
Our share hasn't increased since the 1960's and will actually slope downwards over the next century.
The service economy essential means 90 percent of the work force isn't producing anything. Market pressures create scarcity of the most basic of resources. I.E. Food and rent.
It creates a world where everyone must compete for resources that are fixed. It's basic game theory if you forced to compete for the right to a resource, and the resource cannot be increased, your fighting(economic competition) isn't doing anything.
It's pretend economy we have going, and you don't need to be a genius to understand this.
