Well, I'm about to Shizzo this bitch(self bump) and say I think the dude knew that it may offend people, but who cares?  IT was the Fascist Salute, brought back by Mussolini, and before that the Roman salute.  People put way too much into things like this.  We've all moved on, NWO, right?
