Nah I'm aware. I'm becoming a firm believer most people shouldn't even goto school until their 25.

I look back at the decisions I would of made when I was 20 and see the ones my friends made at that age and it's such a wash. Careers should be treated no differently, than marriages, you spend your whole life with them and divorce is so very costly.

here's what you do you....you get on your bicycle at 9 am and you come home at 5 pm like every other fucking person in the world.

 your no longer unemployeed your job is to GET a job. Hit up every single store..every single market....hit up the chef at a restaurant and ask him to give you a job in the kitchen tell him you can work as much as you want and you'll be there tomorrow. Show up at 10am or just after 2pm dont look like an idiot walking in there at 6 at night like im assuming you will do so Im laying out instructions for you.

I know this must sound super scary for you but....

The best thing you could do is to travel the world, log off from the internet, delete and burn your pc buy a good rucksack and a very good pair of walking boots (Meindl would be top) get a good snugpack sleeping bag, go see the world, you need fuck all money todo that.

That'll heal you - stop finding every excuse to exist, but find every excuse to live.

 A job is ok but you'll never get anywhere like that these days. Find yourself someone who'll take you on as an apprentice for electrician, plumber, millwright, whatver you think you may enjoy doing. I think you'd do well in something like this flint. Once you get your certifications you'll be set...these guys make good coin and you don't have to sit in school for 4+ years. One thing is for sure though without a degree in something useful or a specific skill you're not giving yourself a chance at a decent life these days.

Seriously consider getting back into school and changing directions in your study.  If you need to take a year off to just work some lame job and get your head together then do that.   You're 26 and fortunately have time on your side.  You don't wanna look back in 20 years and think, "man I shoulda stuck out school cause now I'm just doing {insert whatever}."

Picking a career isn't typically about doing what you love.   Sometimes it is, but most often a career is something you can tolerate on a daily basis, not grow to hate and can often find some degree of happiness engaging in.  Dream jobs are just that...dreams.  Very few people get their dream job.

Now if you're dumb as a brick and wanna be a neurosurgeon or astrophysicist you might wanna reconsider you're potential.   Also, if you dream of being a model and are as ugly as me...LOL....well, might wanna reality checkity-check yo self.

i dropped classes a few times in my 20s... maybe 5 times?  Took me forever to finish school, but I got my MBA and today I am proud to post on getbig at 12:46 pm in my underwear.
