He had a laundry list of injuries by this point, he snapped one bicep and tore his triceps on one side completely.

Yes, I do know he was injury riddled at the end, just never heard it told exactly why. Maybe he made a sensible choice by walking away.

All I heard at the time he was in terrible pain, he HAD to go for surgical reattachment of the tendon (actually competed with torn triceps, biceps).  He lifted CRAZY ASS weights after only a short warm up period- again only what I've heard, but 3 sets counted as warm-ups, and then BOOM one "maximum all-out" set, heaviest weight to COMPLETE muscle failure.

Dorian had proved his place on stage and proved his point again and again. He did the job and that was to entertain us lot, if you can t digest the words i express try not outfreak when Dorian was on stage it was no contest. Dorian he was the best.

It does not matter if you like old school style training...volume...hit or whatever.. when you talk about Blood sweat and intensity at another level then Dorian Yates is the man.

Look at the machine Jean pierre Fux is using for back at the 1:24:40 ...that machine while not popular gives the best pump for every single muscle in the back.
