Gerard Butler? I don't think so. This will end up a straight to dvd failure. Lenny McLean's story is not very interesting except to little London boys who think they are hard.
Lenny fought a bunch of unskilled, out of shape psudo hardmen (the type Barbard Windsor fingers her old kunt thinking about). And he punched skinny guys who were drunk at cheap pubs and clubs. Not impressive. Angry because his dad touched him up as a kid. A sordid sad little life. If his dad hadn't buggered little lenny he would have had a better life without the anger.

My mate's brother was slung out of the Hypodrome by Lenny in the early 90's. Said Len was UN-fucking-believably strong. But then again, that matters nothing unless you had fighting skills. Which I'm sure he did, but would've still gotten murdered against any average heavy weight at the time. Cliff Field and Johnny Waldron knocked him out quite a few times.
Anyway, after Lenny slung them out, he apparently pulled a face and growled like an animal at them. They fucked off sharpish.

I remember some hype about him around the time Kimbo videos came out, and people were saying the real bare knuckle champ "on the cobblestones" knocked out Lenny 3 times (2 official and once in the streets or "cobbles" lol), think name was Roy Shaw? Anyway that guy was supposed to be the real assassin of underground boxing...

Well at least thats a reasonable bit of casting. Craigs a big kunt and hasen't done much since Londons Burning 20 years ago. He was in that Stallone film about the mountains and played some psycho in a gangster film a few years back so he can play the mental case type fairly well. |

Haha thats for sure. They were terrified of Glasgow Godfather Arthur Thomson who used to get them to do his dirty work in London in the 60's. One of them was a friend of Jimmy Savile too, used to meet up at Broadmoor for pleasures. |

To be fair, Lenny wasnt a boxer by any stretch of the imagination but he could throw a hell of a punch and was very strong. I can see him losing most of his fights in the ring but on the street it would be a different story im sure. He beat Roy Shaw, and nobody would tell him he was a shit fighter who couldnt handle himself. I've been waiting for this movie for years since Fairbrass was first signed up to do it, if i remember right there were funding issues.
