On March 21, 2013, Nasser succumbed to a severe case of malaria contracted on a visit to Egypt. There is some speculation that the malaria was exacerbated by pre-existing liver and kidney issues.
Damn, this is real. Very sad. I expected a getbig hoax on this one. They're tweeting it's real. Sad. With all the idiots blowing money and buying cars to show off in magazines, Nasser was a guy who was smart with his money, lived a responsible lifestyle, and seemed to be very educated and respectful in interviews. One of the great physiques of his era.
