it was a chunk the size of the tip of my thump plucked me in the eye, my vision is almost back to normal. from now on im wearing saftey goggles when mowing too im not risking this shitnormally i wear goggles of course when wead eating and hedge trimming but not mowing or cutting boards lesson learned i couldve easily went blind
Yea dude, I had a uncle lose a eye working at a saw mill cutting lumber a chunk of wood splintered off took it out. Mowing you never know when you might hit a small rock and fly up.
I usually wear a pair of aviators outside, but I do have goggles that came with my weed eater. I knew a lady who went blind in one eye and had a brain aneurysm when she was outside gardening and pruning her plants and one of the fronds of a plant went right in her eye and caused the brain aneurysm. She was unable to walk after that and the site never fully returned.
