It's a great series based on great books!

Even better as a series imo, due to actors such as Dinklage etc

Jaqen was (hopefully still is) insane! This was an amazing episode with great backstories (with a sorcerer in a box, no less), and which shows who are playing the game of thrones best.

The mere dialogue alone was exceptionally moving.

Varys' talk with Tyrion regarding how "influence grows like a weed" was so damn awe inspiring. His level of conviction and passion just spilled onto his words.

The buildup from episode to episode makes you want to skip to next Sunday for another taste.

Book 3, A Storm of Swords would have to be my favourite of the books so far, read it 3 times.

No surprise that Season 3 is amazing.

yep - Storm of Swords was the best book in the series thus far.

I wish to God he'd finish his writing soon though - (and not die before he does). I started them in the 90's and have re-read them all a few times over because I keep forgetting what's happening and who is who.

Martin has the same problem. Has noted that he has some people who help keep him on path.
