the feathers will disperse and go down a lot slower

so 100lbs of metal weighs more

That wasn't the question.  And no, the feathers collectively still weigh 100 pounds, even if they are no longer static.  i.e. floating in air.   Their weight is displaced by the air, but their weight does not change.  When they return to the ground, there is still 100lbs of feathers.

No need to. 100bs is 100lbs.  Had the OP asked which would be more fatal if dropped from a significant height on top of your head, that would bring about a different answer due to the displacement of the feathers as they fall.  But in terms of static weight, they would equally crush your head.
