Luke, please stop trying to act like you have a clue what you're talking about.  You have no idea how America or Americans work.  Everytime you start blathering about Americans, and American govt, you couldn't much further from the truth.  Please stop, you know not what you speak of.

On a side note, I still want to take you hunting if you ever come over to the states.  If you don't like shooting animals, I can respect that.  We can go shoot targets instead.   :D
I knew it wouldn't be long before someone proved my point.

They can't do that, it's illegal, and would be easily challenged by anyone of the workers if they wanted to.  As i've said before, it's all up to the individual.  He/she controls their own destiny.  In the example of the bread workers, they have 3 choices:

1.  Take it.
2.  Quit and find another job.
3.  Fight it, get reimbursed, and pwn the bread boss.

So what's it going to be buddy?  You gonna keep taking it?   :D

speaking of taking it, your mother is quite the filthy whore  :)

But kudos on failing yet again to dispute my point. Yes there are avenues to combat this, the point is it happens , and is rich people fucking poor people. You actually proved my point for me stupid...thanks.

OH, you were serious - An example of some of the eroded freedoms are these:

Assassination of U.S. citizens
Indefinite detention
Arbitrary justice
Warrantless searches
Secret evidence
Secret courts
Immunity from judicial review
Continual monitoring of citizens
Extraordinary renditions

Add to this  extremely low minimum wages, a shitty welfare and health system, a high crime rate for industrialised country, an elitist corporate run  corrupt Government, police state mentality,  a class based education system and a culture of violence --->  America = Shitty place to live.

Hey Twaddle, you better not go outside tomorrow, you might be a victim of rendition and then they will take you to the secret courts and present secret evidence in an effort to seek indefinite detention so they can procure arbitrary justice on you stemming from a Warrant-less search that is classified under the immunity from Judicial review clause that is part of the Illumanti`s plan to continually monitor citizens in order to control the banks.

Twaddle is typical of those who have had good fortune and linked it somehow to their superior work ethic or their humongous brain.  This is a typical trait of those who have never had to endure real suffering or tragedy.  It comes from a blame the victim mentality, which is really quite perverse, this mentality suggests that if someone is suffering or impoverished, they must have brought it on themselves, their couldn't possible be a system exploiting people, keeping them serfs to a corrupt system, keeping them chained to a life of drudgery and lack of REAL choice.  Also, by blaming the victim, one doesn't have to do anything about it, one doesn't have to accept responsibility for their environment, or their culture or their part in the whole mess, they can go on consuming, destroying the environment, doing whatever it is the fuck they please all guilt free and never having to contribute to improving the system that fucks the majority of people over.

If you look at society like a team, the very first thing a shitty team does when they fail is find a scapegoat, someone in the team to blame.  A good team acknowledges those that need help, bring them up to speed and the team is now stronger and more capable.  America is the shitty team.

What was I thinking, as long as it's not happening to you, who gives a fuck right, I forgot about the American motto, "FUCK EVERYONE ELSE, I'M ALRIGHT JACK" -  and you won't be so smug when economic conditions change and the legislative changes you mock now will affect the average citizen more and more.

syntax and uberman have the best posts in this thread.

freedom is a bogus concept, by the way.  everything competes with everything else, the strong wins over the weak.  nothing is "free" from anything else; the illusion of freedom occurs when one has the power to do what one wants, and nothing can stop him.

the rape analogy made earlier in the thread was actually a good one... everyone seems to "have a choice" until they can't follow through, because something more powerful took their "choice" away.  not everyone can just "work hard" and get a good job... there are tons of people who can work as hard as they want, but are pushed out of the good jobs by people smarter, more capable, or more advantageously positioned within society.  not everyone who "trains hard" can be a good bodybuilder.

in fact, the best people in every field usually like what they do, and have great aptitude for it.  for them, it isn't "hard" at all -- failing, giving up, or being "lazy" would actually be harder.

I can agree with that. I used to be broke as hell. Then I just studied and worked til I found a way to be successful. Now I am living very well. The game is all about figuring out the little tricks.

But I just went across the USA and I saw so much poverty and homelessness. And then of course there is the crime that goes along with it. I saw a lot of gnarly shit. It is seriously out of control in my opinion. If it's the best country in the world, we should be able to have much less poverty and crime.

They keep them struggling, to keep them working like slaves through currency manipulation.

the girl i have currently an affair with is some doctor, she often randomly jst goes to the poor shitholes with red cross etc, those organisations, you know who help in the piss poor countries.

she dont get no pay there, just some housing, sometimes sleeps in the dirt literaly and eats the food from famaily which provides shelter, or gets 2usd a day from the org to eat with free housing.

she doesnt do it to help per se, she does it to remind herself on how good we have it here.

she told me stories, which almost made me wanna go too.

those places have fuck all in a pharmacy, not even the most basic things.what i mean even if they somehow get ahold of some money, they cont buy meds or anything,no syringue,no plaster, no nothing, bc its simply not available.

its all relative ,even the last weed smopking hippie doley who can type big words on how the world sucks for him from a pc with electricity is filthy rich compared to them.

i was mch like these guys myself when younger, i have changed my views entirely on these matters.

i came from a war riddled shithole to here myself, its all good.i cant buy the newest ferarri, so what the world wont go under.

living a much better life than i ever would where i came from

I applaud you.  You're proof that you are what you make of yourself.  You come from a shitty country, and didn't like it, so you moved.  And for that, you were rewarded with what you have now.  You may not be rich, but you're happy.  You really should come to the USA.  I think you would be very happy here.

Yeah I have been to some of the poorest countries myself. We Americans are spoiled compared to them. I've seen places where people are dying on the streets and people are starving with flies all over their face.

I am thankful I don't live in a place like that. But compared to other rich countries, america has some big problems. There are some major quirks to be worked out, but overall it is a great country. I just want it to be better.

My life doesn't suck, it is not me I am talking about, I have made plenty of money in my life, I have never gone hungry and never spent a night homeless.  In a lot of respects I have led a privileged life, I enjoy and continue to learn, and believe my Interior life, for me personally is very fulfilling and rewarding.  I have personally found a way to live the way I want and am happy with that.  My argument is with this pull yourself up by the bootstraps mentality, that suggests the harder you work, the more you benefit.  This is simply not true, and if it was, The Chinese would be the richest people in the world.

Does anybody really believe that Donald trump outworks anybody, or that he works so much harder that his rewards is worth millions more than you, or in Australia Gina Reinhardt, who has never laboured for a second in her life, yet is one of the wealthiest people in the world..  The fact is, the system was created by the Elite for the Elite and tends to keep people within their class.  Only a small minority move up in class, and even then it is often only the result of those from higher classes giving them the opportunity too.  Poverty, homelessness, poor health etc don't happen in a vacuum, their are systems in place that enables these things to happen, they are the result of inefficient systems, they stay that way because part of that system is to keep the majority of people in a cycle of continuously having to chase a dollar just to survive that they have zero time to address the important stuff.  Spending your entire life trying to secure housing and work is not natural, it is due to design, and it ensures the Elite maintain power over others and cannot threaten their position within society.

For fuck sakes, most species of monkey spend only a few hours a day seeking food and resources, the rest of the time they have for leisure, even monkeys have worked out a superior system to humans.  Humanity has been enslaved by the Elite, this is undeniable, if a man was left to his own resources, he could secure the resources he needs in a fraction of the time that is currently required under a capitalist democratic system, Humanity lives under an Elitist system that leaves the individual little choice when it comes to how he chooses to live his life.

And even if a man raises above some shitty third world existence, he gets a decent education and a well paid position, he is still a slave, sure he has all the comforts in life, but his time is not his own, how he chooses to spend his time is given up for the sake of guaranteeing these resources in the future.  he has rented himself out to the highest bidder, and is now a serf to a corporate master, a capitalist ideal.  For few people make it too the point were they are wealthy enough that they truly are free to spend the rest of their lives in any manner they choose, and if they made it their from a poor start, they are generally burnt out and have sold out and are now a shell of a human being.  Not to mention the insecurity that comes from such a position, as their wealth is generally tied up in volatile propositions.

Yup. Getting rich these days is all about tricks, schemes, and complex plans, and often, fucking over others in some way.

Simply working hard will keep you at the bottom level of society as a working tool. And the more money you start with the easier it is to move up.

"Old money" controls this world for the most part.

Goddamn, you're one negative, miserable person.  I truly don't know what else to say.  I really don't know how you can ever succeed in life with your attitude.  You seem to think that everythign is predetermined, and that we have no control over our lives.    I wish you the best though.
