WTF are you talking about, that is NOT GETTING WHIPPED THE WAY GOVERNMENTS DID IN THE PAST, not even fucken close, I got it 10 times harder then that, that was a wimpy beating.

Of course beating your children is horse shit and I do not think it is cool, this guy can get charged in most countries nowadays but that was a weak beating in comparison to other fathers that beat their children.

Indeed, he can. As others have suggested though, such is due to this wimpy PC world that want adults to be their kids' friends instead of their parents.

Plus, you basically have the UN, trying to strip parents of their authority to discipline their kids.

I would never hit my kids ever, but I know of some parents that do and the children are very obedient and I know that the parent loves them as they are always stressed over their safety and what not, but we are talking a simple spanking or a belt to the buttocks.

Here in my city about 10 years back a man pulled his sons pants down in a fast foods parking lot and spanked him twice and someone saw and called the cops, guy got arrested and released and had on going court dates and was on front page news and they made a public case out of him. He got off but endured some serious humility.
