Agree. But massive overweight stresses the heart and kidneys too, not only gear.
Yeah man, just carrying an ocean of water alone is a huge stress that they should eliminate. I sincerely think that the same results can be achieved in a safer manner.
I would otherwise not give a shit about what they do with their bodies, but when you hear about them going on dialysis and waiting for a kidney transplant it becomes apparent that there is a team of nurses wasting their time setting up IV bags and taking care of them. Their are doctors and specialists wasting time and money on them. There are beds and rooms being occupied because of them. And worst of all, a precious organ will be wasted on them.
Guys like Kris Dim, what do they do? They go out and fucking repeat the exact same pattern of abuse and make the problem a million times worse. At least Prince, one of the biggest shit talkers on the face of the Earth, pulled up his socks and endured his new found twinkdom. He's alive at least. And from what I've heard, doing decently as far as his career and personal life are concerned. Dim is probably going to end up having his body sent back to Cambodia for burial soon.
Not saying that recreational druggies and negligent fatasses are any better, but their addictions are usually a little more complex and deeply rooted than simple vanity and cosmetic addictions. You'd hope that an otherwise cognizant and aware bodybuilder would stop the abuse before they end up in acute care. Although some symptoms are atypical, the warning signs are almost always there. It should never come as a surprise.
