It simplest terms it is a breakdown product of arginine metabolism. It increase NO much more then arginine, is an NMDA agonist, increasing LH-GNRH increasing test and growth hormone. It also acts as it's own neurotransmitter improving mood, dulls pain and a host of other shit.

Interesting.

I know that regular Arginine has been proven to attenuate the growth hormone response to exercise. Do you know of any such information pertaining to this byproduct?

i'm interested some info please,,,i already mentioned to montague i use arginine and he did give me some slighlty negative effect it has on natural gh supressment during exercise,,

Yes, oral Arginine stimulates hGH release, but suppresses the amount released in response to exercise. If optimizing natural hGH levels is of concern, it may be better to consume Arginine apart from training - especially considering that proper exercise can have a greater effect on growth hormone output than Arginine alone.

It will be interesting to learn what this other stuff does.

i will let you know just picked up a bottle,cheap and read some stuff on it,when i saw bottle clicked in head about this thread arginine vs agmatine,,i usually use arginine in some form,done will try this..
