These dudes, mel, clooney, arnold, what are they exactly. I mean obviously they dont care about family, or just pretend to just like when they act in movies. Is this the kind of "man" you guys want to become?
I know most of you despise the family man and see him as "trapped" "enslaved" "submissive" whoa re "forced" to give in social and family related influences, and mostly worship guys like these aforementioned actors and model your lives after theirs the best you can daily. What led you to think it was, is the ideal life for a man? Your own father 's sayings?
Do you guys feel like you re more in control of your life not having a single woman, kids, to be loyal to for the rest of your life?

What made you think that "family life" and raising kids is the best way to live your life? Two things: basic instincts and the fact that everyone does it. Some people genuinely want it and that's OK - it's your choice after all. But building a family just beause you are afraid of what everyone around you thinks about it when you are 40 and single is just a bad decision, period.

After all, do whatever the fuck you want to do. There are no objective reasons to choose either way.

No you must marry a girl and buy a house, car, and get a dog preferably, and have several children and raise them for 18-20 years, no matter how bad the relationship gets or how much you want to fuck a new girl. Man up and endure this and your daughter might not be a whore in adult life.

Amal Alamuddin, a lawyer whose work includes issues related to Syria, drones and Wikileaks, is engaged to George Clooney, an actor. People Magazine broke the story noting that Alamuddin and Clooney were spotted at Nobu in Malibu, where they were dining with Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber (both friends of Clooney’s).  Alamuddin was seen at the dinner wearing what looked like an engagement ring on her left ring finger.  One of People Magazine’s exclusive sources said, ”Clooney popped the question” and “George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren’t really trying to hide this, it doesn’t seem. I think it’s like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever.”

Alamuddin is an accomplished international lawyer.  She holds a B.A. and L.L.B. from St. Hugh’s College, Oxford University (where she won the Shrigley Award) and also holds a Masters of Law (L.L.M.) degree from New York University School of Law (where she earned the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for excellence in entertainment law).  She practiced for several years at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP’s New York office, where she was a member of the Criminal Defense and Investigations Group.  There her clients included Enron and Arthur Andersen.

Dago is a term that refers to I-talians in my area.  It is just a nickname I picked up as a teen.

Haha, I'm Dago Joe as well...  :)

I guess that's a way to stay somewhat "sane" in this fucked up world.. Far from everyone have an IQ high enough and overall wisdom to lead a different lifestyle ant not go into extremes (gambling, coke, alcohol, etc...). But it's definitely not an only option, one just needs to find other ways to be productive and active not to succumb to an extreme animal kind of "lifestyle". Having lots and lots of money (like these guys) helps too, as then one can decide whether to be "alone" or have "friends", whenever he wants at whatever age/situation of life, etc...

If only the average person knew how unstable the life of the average Hollywood star is. They get involved in more hangovers, drug parties, orgies, and late-mornings sleeping off benders than most. Their wealth and continued source of respectability in the media keeps their self-destructive lifestyle possible. They're nothing special. Same vices as everyone else, just a lower price to pay.

Yes man.

You must be assuming I mean that the media gives them a pass. No, of course not. Their lives are under the microscope.

I meant a guy like Jack Nicholson or Johnny Depp get can shitfaced at a VIP party, get limousine-driven home, crash on his XL King bed, and sleep all day without worry about work, or losing his job, or anything else for that matter besides recovering. Then they can get up, go to a spa, get a massage, detox in the sauna, and hit their private gym later. Maybe even buy a top hooker or two like Charlie Sheen just for the company.

The average slob can't do that. So yeah, these guys are spoiled. They may work hard when they accept a script, but Jesus do they live better than we do.

Gotcha.

Less repercussions to their actions. That makes sense.

I mean just consider how many of them get busted for DUIs and theft and other shit in LA County, yet none of them go to jail. Always plead no contest + slap on the wrist. The county jail's full of non-celebrities.

you're not equipped for this, sasquatch. business is not something you're versed in, just tap out.

I've owned businesses, managed businesses, and invested in businesses. Clippers ain't a public company, I assume sterling owns a controlling share, if not 100%. you can't force a man to sell his business. if he were CEO, the board of directors could vote on terminating him, but he's not elected (hired). it's like forcing Sergey and the other guy to sell Google.com..... you can't do it. Sure, you can fire Eric Schmidt (although I believe he's stepped down already... beside the point), but you can't force Sergey and other guy (the owners) to sell.... the same way you can't force zuckerberg to sell his interest in Facebook..... the same way Annaly Capital can't force me to sell my shares because of something other shareholders see me posting on Getbig. that's not how it works kid.
